Internationally recognized and accredited
Group Florence Nightingale was among the pioneering Turkish hospitals to achieve accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), the international body responsible for reviewing and accrediting American hospitals. Their extensive checklist encompasses over 350 criteria, spanning surgical hygiene, anesthesia procedures, and evaluations of medical staff and nurses. JCI conducts accreditation audits every three years to ensure ongoing compliance.
Moreover, Group Florence Nightingale nurtures affiliations and partnerships with renowned medical institutions in the United States and other countries. We remain dedicated to investing in the continuous training and development of our physicians, nurses, technologists, and staff to uphold the highest standards of healthcare excellence.
Experienced, internationally trained physicians, and medical experts
All Group Florence Nightingale physicians are fully licensed by the Turkish Medical Council to practice their specialty in Turkey. Additionally, many hold Board Certification in their respective specialties from the US, Australia, or Europe. The credentialing process at Group Florence Nightingale involves a thorough review of each doctor’s qualifications and track record by the Credentials and Bylaws Committee and the Hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. This evaluation occurs prior to a doctor’s appointment to the medical staff by the Hospital’s Board of Governors and is reviewed every three years thereafter.
A summary of each physician’s qualifications is available on our website. Should you wish to delve deeper into the qualifications or specific experience of your physician upon arrival, we can facilitate this process.
Moreover, nurses, pharmacists, imaging, and lab technicians undergo rigorous schooling and must pass certification exams to obtain licenses to practice at Group Florence Nightingale. Nurses are re-certified at 5-year intervals. Those with specialized responsibilities, particularly ICU nurses, undergo additional training and certification to ensure competence in their specific areas of expertise.
